    The Spady Cultural Heritage Museum invites learners of all ages (middle school, high school, and adults) to participate in a 7-month cultural education experience that centers the African Diaspora. The Black History Education Program offers learning through hands-on activities, community field trips, and storytelling. The curriculum, developed by Brian Knowles of Power Builders, is designed to engage middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adults alike.     STARRING DEBRA JO RUPP & RAY ANTHONY THOMAS This beloved, heartfelt, Pulitzer Prize-winning play is the story of an unlikely, life-changing friendship between Daisy Werthan, a 72-year-old Jewish widow, and Hoke Coleburn, a Black chauffeur hired by her son Boolie. Set in Georgia, the play unfolds over a 25-year period, beginning in 1948.     Join us at GLAZER HALL for a screening of this iconic film- based on the events of the Apollo 13 lunar mission- which took place more than 55 years ago. Astronauts Jim Lovell (Tom Hanks), Fred Haise (Bill Paxton) and Jack Swigert (Kevin Bacon) find everything going according to plan after leaving Earth’s orbit when an oxygen tank explodes, and the scheduled moon landing is called off.
