Closing the GAP, a Florida Housing Coalition

See Flyer

This 24-month program provides the opportunity for the city to embark on efforts to close the racial gap in homeownership by revealing historical patterns of discrimination that may lead to racial inequalities. As of 2020, the homeownership rate for Black residents in West Palm Beach is still much lower than white homeownership rates at 40.3% compared to 56.7%. As a participant of Closing the Gap the city will identify and implement strategies to reduce these racial disparities in homeownership.

Evening On Antique Row

See Flyer

One of my favorite events of the year, Evening on Antique Row, will take place on Saturday, April 1. For over 25 years, this beloved community event has benefitted Palm Beach County's public school students and Antique Row's merchants. The proceeds from Evening on Antique Row go directly to funding educational initiatives for children who would otherwise not receive much-needed education in local history, government, and civics. As in years past, this fantastic event will feature local restaurants, merchants, artists, and musicians. Mark your calendars! @pbchistory
