Heritage Lecture Season 2025-2026 Eliot Kleinberg presents his novel, “Hypocrite’s Row.” This enlightening and adventurous novel provides a rare glimpse into 1920’s Florida history, when Prohibition was more or less a joke. To set the stage: Along the open coastline just a few hours’ boat ride from the British Bahamas, wealthy society swells, gangsters, and tourists paid handsomely to drink. The suppliers became folk heroes and the lawman the villain.
