Black History Study

The Spady Cultural Heritage Museum invites learners of all ages (middle school, high school, and adults) to participate in a 7-month cultural education experience that centers the African Diaspora. The Black History Education Program offers learning through hands-on activities, community field trips, and storytelling. The curriculum, developed by Brian Knowles of Power Builders, is designed to engage middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adults alike. The National Urban League Black History Month Career Week & Virtual Career Fair (February 2–6, 2026) is a five-day virtual experience designed to help job seekers and professionals advance their careers. The week begins on Monday, February 2, with a Virtual Pre-Fair focused on sharpening interview skills, strengthening personal branding, and preparing attendees for Career Fair Day.
