Black History Study

The Spady Cultural Heritage Museum invites learners of all ages (middle school, high school, and adults) to participate in a 7-month cultural education experience that centers the African Diaspora. The Black History Education Program offers learning through hands-on activities, community field trips, and storytelling. The curriculum, developed by Brian Knowles of Power Builders, is designed to engage middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adults alike. Homebuyer Education Class January 2026

Greetings, Thank you for your interest in our Homebuyer Education Class; this class is offered live through Zoom in two sessions. Session One Tues. January 20th 5:30pm-8:30pm and Session Two Thurs. January 22nd 5:30pm-8:30pm. Both sessions must be attended; in addition to an individual counseling session to receive the 8 hour certificate of completion. Upon completion a certificate will be issued that is valid for 1 year after the date of completion. There is no cost to participate in the Homebuyer Education Class.
