This 24-month program provides the opportunity for the city to embark on efforts to close the racial gap in homeownership by revealing historical patterns of discrimination that may lead to racial inequalities. As of 2020, the homeownership rate for Black residents in West Palm Beach is still much lower than white homeownership rates at 40.3% compared to 56.7%. As a participant of Closing the Gap the city will identify and implement strategies to reduce these racial disparities in homeownership.

! 25th Annual Golf Classic Monday, April 15, 2024 7:30 AM - 3 PM North Palm Beach Country Club Marguerite Connelly will serve as the Golf Classic Chair, and Johnny Pickett will serve as the Honorary Chair for this long-standing benefit to raise funds for addiction treatment scholarships.
