While Miami is literally heating up these past few days, have you ever wondered why there’s a lack of Shade in African-American communities and working-class communities in general? We literally live in these concrete jungles where asphalt is king. But we need trees to beautify, for our public health, and for community gatherings. This is a problem that we can solve on our own. What does it cost to simply drop a seed and plant a tree, pennies?
