More than a few years ago, several friends and I got together and launched TEDxMiami. We did programs over four years to sold out audiences – vividly illustrating that Miami is a place deeply interested in “ideas worth spreading.” But then life got busy (for instance, I left the Miami Herald and took a new job at Knight Foundation and launched an initiative that was all-consuming). TEDxMiami went on an extended hiatus. But now TEDxMiami is back under great new leadership. And the next one will be Thursday at New World Symphony! I hope you’ll check it out.
