The “Delta Authors on Tour” rolls into Miami on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., at the Little Haiti Cultural Center, 212-260 NE 59th Terrace, Miami, FL 33137. We aim to inspire at least 1,000 participants to read more, write their own stories, and pursue their dreams.
We hope to make this a free community event, and your support makes it possible. Your tax-deductible donation helps cover the costs of space, security, equipment rentals, promotion, and travel. Most importantly, we need funding to purchase books for the youth in attendance so they can take home a copy of their favorite author’s work and continue reading. We also desire to donate books to a local women’s shelter.
We are asking for your support as a sponsor or by purchasing an ad in our digital souvenir journal. The souvenir journal will be shared with all event registrants and promoted throughout Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.’s dynamic Southern Region, with a readership of over 25,000 living in Florida, The Bahamas, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated. In return, we will acknowledge your generosity on our website, social media, and event flyers. We will also display your logo and name at the event and mention you in our opening and closing remarks. You will also have the opportunity to meet the authors and see the impact of your contribution.
