The Pompano Beach Cultural Affairs Department is proud to announce a creative and compelling celebration of Black History Month. February programming includes an inspiring virtual lecture series, an entertaining and thought-provoking one-man show by Jahman Hill, and stunning new art exhibitions!
In addition, regularly scheduled programs, including the Lunch with Art Lecture Series, Montage, and Lyrics Lab will showcase Black community leaders, filmmakers, entertainers and historical figures.
All programs are free and will premiere on the City of Pompano Beach Facebook page or the Pompano Beach Arts Facebook page, in addition to being available for viewing at any time on the Pompano Beach Arts website (https://www.pompanobeacharts.org/).
As a reminder, the City’s art galleries are open by appointment for in-person tours, and virtual video programming about the exhibitions as well as links to book tours will also be available on the website.
